I love sharing the concept of anti pet peeves with new people. And then receiving from them one (or more!) of their own :) Here is a fresh list of anti pet peeves, or little things that bring immense joy. I also hope you enjoy the photos that come with them.

My personal anti pet peeve is shown in the picture above - we recently adopted a mama pup and her baby boy, and the boy loves to hold her leash on walks. He's a true mama's boy, and we love it :)

Happy Tuesday everyone! And as always, if you'd like to share your anti pet peeves too, please send my way!

Anti Pet Peeve List (+ photos!)

I just love helping my kids with their homework. Helping them out with math - or french classes makes me feel like I am really helping them and connecting with them. It also reminds me of how my dad would sit at the kitchen table with me, helping me out on all kinds of topics with limitless patience and understanding. Sometimes going over certain difficult math problems again and again until I finally got it. Something that I am still very grateful for. - Michiel Plakman

Finally (almost) no queue at my farmers’ market – waiting for my favourite tomatoes reduced from 1hr to 15min!

Loving how WholeFoods gives you a mask at the entry, if you forgot yours at home.

Even as cafes & restaurants open, Hyde park is still full of groups celebrating birthdays on a picnic in a not-so-warm weather – loving how people turned to appreciate fresh air.

My first flight booked since the start of the year – the return leg got cancelled, which enabled me to extend the stay on a holiday by another week at no cost!

As people are taking beer from pubs ‘to go’, local cafes open their umbrellas for people to hide from the occasional spree.

Seeing my wife Dayna learn to play Animal Crossing so that she could buy and wrap a virtual birthday gift for my son Gabriel’s birthday party on the game. Her character looked so cute with a dress and flower in her hair that my ten-year-old picked out for her. I think it’s only virtual money they are spending or at least I hope so…

When I nod and say hello to a complete stranger, and they acknowledge and enthusiastically return the greeting.  - Dave Hochman

My anti-pet peeve is when the clouds arrange themselves in some amazing way and I have the lucky break to pay attention and truly see them shape shifting before my eyes. Recently I saw what I think are actual silver linings! (picture attached)  - Dorie Blesoff

When my children say please and thank you...
When someone grabs extra napkins without asking in case there is a spill or need...
When funny or kind gestures are built into a software interface in an unexpected way.

When I open the door or window on what I expect to be a hot summer morning, and I feel a cool breeze inviting me to go on a brisk morning walk!

Realizing that I don’t know where my phone is because I put it down an hour or more ago and haven’t had reason or the urge to pick it up since then.

When I open the door to the room where our new kittens (9 weeks old) are staying, and I see this face looking back at me. (picture attached)
